Did Dracula really exist?
DAY ONE
Friday:
Flight to Bucharest. Arrival at Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP), Bucharest. Meeting with a representative of the host agency.
Hotel accommodation.

DAY TWO
Saturday:
After breakfast, we will visit the Pearl of the Carpathians – Peleș Castle. Built at the end of the 19th century by King Carol I in German Neo-Renaissance style, Peleș Castle impresses visitors with its architectural and artistic uniqueness. We will also admire the castle courtyard, with its fountain and statues, where there will be time for photos.
Departure to Bran, where we will visit the castle of the same name, built in 1377 by the inhabitants of Brașov to protect the city from invaders. Better known as Dracula’s Castle, it was transformed in 1922 by Queen Marie into her summer residence.
Next, we will enjoy a guided tour of the city of Brașov, also known as Kronstadt. We will visit Council Square, the Black Church (external visit), Catherine’s Gate, and the Museum of the First Romanian School.
In Brașov, tourists are encouraged to taste the famous Romanian sausages “Mici”, accompanied by the local Ciucaș beer.
Return to Bucharest. Hotel accommodation.
DAY THREE
Sunday:
After breakfast, we will visit the Palace of Parliament* and the historic city center. The Palace of Parliament is the second-largest administrative building in the world, after the Pentagon. Covering an area of 330,000 square meters, the building has been listed three times in the Guinness World Records as the largest civilian administrative building in the world, the most expensive, and the heaviest. A total of 20,000 workers, working in three shifts for five years, were involved in realizing Nicolae Ceaușescu’s ambitious project.
* In the event of major international events, the Palace of Parliament may not be accessible to visitors. In such cases, we offer an equally fascinating alternative – Ceaușescu’s Villa, surrounded by famous stories, including the legendary tale of the golden toilet.
Free time for lunch and leisure until the airport transfer for departure. You may choose between a visit to Therme Bucharest (http://therme.ro), the largest wellness center, featuring thermal waters, indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, and a beautiful botanical garden with 1,500 palm trees, or a visit to Băneasa Shopping City, the largest shopping mall, covering an area of 6 hectares.
